Seeds, Zinnias Peppermint (West Coast Seeds)

Peppermint Stick Zinnia seeds produce big, double, dahlia-like flowers.

Each flower is uniquely striped and flecked with darker colours, so no two are exactly the same. Plant height up to 90cm (36"). Zinnias are extremely easy to grow from seed, and this is a particularly nice mix. Its straight stems and perfectly upright growth make this marvellous Zinnia a particularly useful cut flower, and they look wonderful in arrangements. Try a row of this exceptional Zinnia in your raised bed or in quite large containers.

Timing
Direct sow after last frost. Zinnias don’t transplant well, but can be started indoors, if necessary, in peat or coir pots, 6-8 weeks before planting out. Maintain a soil temperature of 21-26°C (70-80°F). Seeds should germinate in 5-24 days.

Starting
Just cover Zinnia seeds, and aim for a final spacing of 25-30cm (10-12″) between plants.
