Seeds, Spinach Viroflay Organic (McKenzie)

This huge, French gourmet open-pollinated spinach can grow up to 60cm (24″) in diameter with 20cm (8″) leaves. The leaves have a low acid taste and regardless of how large they get, they remain tender and delicious.

Plant directly in the garden as soon as ground can be worked and danger of frost has passed. Repeat plantings every two weeks to extend the harvest season of fresh spinach. Best growth occurs in spring and fall, and be sure to do a second sowing in late summer for a fall crop.
