Grass-like leaves have a mild garlic taste. Prefers well-drained soil in a sheltered area. After first season, clumps may be divided and transplanted. Harvest for fresh use anytime. Cut no more than half of the leaves to allow for further growth. Dry leaves quickly to retain flavor. Chopped leaves can also be frozen. Divide the plant in early spring every few years.
